Anyone can have success, if they are prepared to work on themselves first, because success starts from within. OK - some people win lotteries, but for the rest of us, we have to have a plan and start to work that plan.
No skyscraper ever got built without solid worked out plans set out on what to do first, then the next thing etc. You have to apply a similar sequence to your life plan, income plan, promotions plan, whatever-you-want-to-achieve -plan!
You can find all these things out about yourself if you know the secret!
Do you have the right thinking and motivation?
Is your desire strong enough to see you through the hard times?
Do you have enough belief in yourself?
You can learn how to improve all these things within you and more, if only you knew the secret!
You want or need a new car, then plan out overtime at work, or get an extra job to save for it or pay for it on the never never hire purchase or credit-card plan.
(A waste of money - me thinks sir).
Anyway: How do you know what to plan for? You need to set goals and write them down first, then you can maybe see any pitfalls or holes you need to plug. Just like planning a holiday or trip..

The Secret.
Success doesn't just happen, even if you win the lottery, you still had to do something by way of buying a ticket. If you're not 'in the game' you don't even stand a single chance to win anything! You've got to be in-it-to-win-it!
The same mentality should be applied to all areas of your life! If you are not actively seeking a better income, better lifestyle, to learn and grow, then you will just stand still or even regress. Jobs become stale, trends change and life moves on.
You've got to be ready to change with life, progress to the next level and always keep moving forward.
What will YOU do? TAKE ACTION NOW, or wait till 'something comes your way'?

You need to get started online right now, especially if you are short of money!
Making Money Online.
Look, you can keep working, (or not as the case may be), for a daily wage. Then, one-day, the boss will turn to you and say; "Sorry, we have to downsize and let you go". It's inevitable in whatever line of work you're in! Well, perhaps unless you are in a funeral industry business, people always seem to get round to doing that at least once in their life! Its a service everyone needs and so-long as you keep your business up-to-date and competitive, the company should stay in business.
Not wanting to make light of this, (I hope you don't think I'm joking), earning your own income and being your own boss, should be top priority! Its not easy starting out on your own, but it is also not as hard as YOU probably think!
Overcome Your Mental Monsters!
As an entrepreneur, you have to overcome fear and be brave. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of loosing money and time. I'm not trying to put you off, just pointing out what may happen or may already be holding you back from starting your own business online.
Usually, I find / found that my 'FEAR' truly was False Evidence Appearing Real. I'd worry about paying the bills, stress out over planning and keeping to budgets I'd set. There is nothing wrong with this, so long as you have a clear goal and direction, then stick to your plan as best you can. But... You'll have to do this in life anyway, especially if you are struggling along on a low wage or high expenditure!
Sometimes, we can put off that big step of getting started. Usually the signs are fear of setting up a 'paid-for' host or buying a domain name for your own website. You panic due to unknown factors, 'am I buying from the right domain provider, getting the best hosting deal, paying over the odds, or if its cheap, are they going to hammer me with hidden charges later'.
These are all valid points, but if you don't make a start somewhere and somehow, you will never know. Look at it this way, one strategy I believe in, is not to carry all your eggs in one basket, and go with several different providers for each service. I like to buy a domain registered with one company and host the website elsewhere. Or have 'website-one' registered and hosted with company 'A' and 'website-two' registered and hosted with company 'B'. etc.
So, if you are stuck, not getting started for a similar reason, just get started and look at it as if this is just your first choice of company provider. You can start your next website with a different company.
Life Lesson - All My Eggs In One Basket!
I had all my sites with the same company once upon-a-time, many years ago. I had a problem with an employee at the company and he messed with my sites and caused me no-end of problems. Eventually, I managed to get my email past the chap dealing with my account. I was told he was fired, I had no-more problems after that, but it taught me a valuable lesson, as well as costing me a lot of money, effort and time!
Don't keep all your eggs in one basket!
Now, Listen! It's the same with your income! You've got a job right? (or some form of income already). So, get on with building an online business right now, in your spare time, evenings or weekends. Don't keep all your income with one job. Diversify and look at new ways of making money.
Review Writing, As An Affiliate Marketer.
One idea to get you started, (how I started), is to look at your own interests and hobbies, choose some topic you know a bit about and check out Click Bank.com
Its free to get started on ClickBank, read previous posts on this blog for marketing ideas, like promoting ClickBank products via Twitter and check out YouTube for how to make money online with ClickBank. There is always someone showing you how to, for any subject.
Find product that fits your interests and write a review of it, probably comparing it with other similar products. Personally, I always like to buy the product and test it myself before recommending it, but it is possible to make a recommendation based on what you see and read on the product vendors website. You've got to ask yourself if you'd actually buy the product yourself.
You should be able to make some sales by writing about the product on a blog like this, (free), making posts on Twitter and Facebook and the like, (also free), to get the cash to start your own website and run a separate sales page for each product you recommend and collect potential client email addresses. (These services usually cost money, but there are free email capture services to be found. - Then the subsequent sending of email marketing to your opted-in list of email subscribers is usually free. Writing a weekly or monthly newsletter and so on).

A bit of a re-start of sorts.
Hi -
OK - I've been neglecting this blog again. But, I will deliver more in the new year, as my schedule is changing and I 'should', (that's a maybe), have more time to write.
What have I been up-to. Well, I've been deep into my PPC and SEO studies (and earning whilst learning) for the last year as I have said earlier somewhere in this blog.
This is the main reason I've not had time to write; plus, this is one of several blogs and of course I have Twitter - which has taken over my life somehow. (How did I ever live and breathe without it). Twitter Tips coming up!
Again, my Twitter profile also suffered because of my addiction to PPC and SEO studies.
OK - so not really an apology, but rather an excuse, but I know you'll forgive me when you see I have some interesting info for you..
On the Twitter side: People tell me that making money on Twitter is hard and does not work, and these are people with 25,000 followers. So I have some Twitter Tips for you, read on!
I think I know what is wrong, but of course I cannot say for sure; all that I can say for certain is my accounts make money! The real value is TRAFFIC of course.
I don't know how someone with 25,000 followers fails to make any money, (TRAFFIC), if they have their account structured right. The biggest accounts I manage have about 10k followers.
My average account size is only about 3,000 to 5,000 followers. But the value of those followers is in the quality of the followers!
So - what is my secret? It ain't rocket science, logic dictates that if you have thousands of followers that are not really interested in what you have to say, then they are not going to be interested in what you have to show them, re-following links you promote!
I don't even get a large number of clicks on my links, but those clicks are from interested people with a genuine interest in the subject or theme at hand. This often results in a sale!
I neglect to tell you what my niche markets are, because I'd be stupid to do that wouldn't I? Of course, you'll understand that a profitable niche can be hard to find, but the niche's I'm in are not obscure, quite the opposite in fact!
Anyway, I cannot tell you all my secrets! I had to figure some-things out for myself in order to get slightly ahead of the crowd, as will you. You will get there, just keep going.
I can tell you my secret to building a better Twitter account though! People (is this you) often start Twitter accounts by adding the 20 free starters Twitter suggests when starting a new account. Then they make a few posts and play with the background and that's it.
A week later they notice a few strangers have posted DM's to them and add those people as followers, then chat about loads of different paraphernalia of no consequence and without a specific theme.
This happens even if the account has been started with good marketing intentions, given a name that implies a theme and has all the relevant details in the profile.
Worst still is when we join those Twitter TRAINS / conga-lines, (yes, I've done that too, so I am not talking without experience), but all that we get is loads of followers who don't give a fig for the content in your twitter.
They are absolutely "not interested", in what you have to say! THESE ARE WORTHLESS FOLLOWERS. Why have someone, who is interested in sailing and dogs, following your website-marketing twitter. THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED.
I'd rather have 10 followers who are interested in the niche I'm twittering about, than 1,000 followers who are not interested! Because, you may get more click-through, but you won't get any sales! CAPICHE!
OK - I'm getting to it now, I just had to explain all that, so that you understand, or at least I hope I've explained myself properly. So - what is the secret?
All I do is. (This is usually the point at which I'd ask for money to buy my Twitter-Secrets report. But I'm not selling anything here, honest)! I just thought it would be a good kicker, (I need to amuse myself as well you know)!
All I do is, use Twellow and Twollow. - That is Twellow.com, and Twollow.com (there is a Twello.com, and a Twello.com, without the 'W', so make sure you get the right ones).
And these are not my affiliate links, so I'm not making any money out of you going there! Right, so what now.
I think Twollow is pretty self explanatory, so I won't insult your intelligence. But to be fair, I didn't understand it all when I first went there. (No such things as stupid questions - and all that)!
Twellow - Well,I've helped a few people here, but there are always questions if I leave people to go there themselves. So, here are the instructions, this is what I do.
It all starts at your Twitter account actually, you should have a full profile and a nice picture in place, given some thought to altering the back-ground and making your Twitter page look attractive and different, AND in keeping with the theme you are promoting.
It is no-use promoting Gothic Tattoos, and showing a pink and prissy profile with yellow flowers, it should be the rich-purple and black 'n' deep-reds. Gothic style!
The main detail is your WEB PAGE - URL, - (your affiliate link) - this is the main page that will get seen - clicked-on-through your Twitter page! If this is not posted in your profile - You ain't got a clue, and you'd best pack-up now and go home before you hurt yourself.
When you register at TWELLOW - your details in your profile will be automatically imported to your TWELLOW PROFILE. You can extend your profile BIO, to cover all the keywords for the niche you are in, and most importantly, you must use those keywords in structured sentences that make sense and relate to your niche and theme. (It is marketing basics 1o1 really).
You can put in your email address if you wish because it will not be visible on Twellow. Also, you can add more social links, if you have face-book and other similar accounts all related and linked! That's it for the profile.
Next, you need to add yourself to as many categories that are, again RELEVANT To, and on THEME with, your NICHE! Twellow suggests some for you, (usually three) but you are not yet added! Currently as I write, you add your profile to these categories by clicking the tick that is usually yellow and to the left of the category keyword.
If you are not happy with the category, you can remove it by clicking the red minus sign to the right of the category keyword. Select more categories, (up to 10), by actually searching to see what is relevant.
There is a blue tab near the header of the page for categories. You may need to dig down in the categories to find the exact niche. and just click the "add" to the right of the category keyword. Easy - My work here is almost done!
HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS - All that was a 'Do-It-Once', little, teeny-weeny bit of work!
And if you did it right, (I'm not saying you won't have to tweak it from time to time), but, you won't have to touch it again, almost ever!
Here's the building part. Just go through those categories that you have identified as being RELEVANT TO YOUR NICHE. Categories to do with your theme, and add those individuals that have your chosen keywords in their BIO.
The way I do this is, I use the Mozilla FireFox browser, (because works better than Internet Explorer most of the time). And because it has a killer FIND feature, CONTROL AND 'F', (if you didn't know already)! The best part is, that FIND has a HIGHLIGHT FEATURE, this HIGHLIGHTS all the keywords in the profile bio's. You see.
Many people just add themselves to any category, sometimes just to make themselves sound more interesting, I think! I do also think, though, and HERE'S THE SECRET! that "if", they have gone to the trouble of writing about their interest in their TWITTER BIO, and possibly extending that in their TWELLOW BIO, and then have even had a mind to add themselves to a "category" in TWELLOW, that relates to their interest.
THEN THEY ARE PROBABLY, HONESTLY INTERESTED, IN THAT SUBJECT. And; If you write, sensible, logical twitter about their topic of interest, THEY WILL FOLLOW YOU.. or will be more likely to be interested in your links. (So long as they are relevant).
I've explained this to people who I've been helping and yet I sometimes still find them listed in non relative categories and posting unrelated tweets! Sorry, I just don't understand! How do they expect to make any sales?

My New Website & SEO I'm learning.
Hi - Yes - look, I'm sorry I've left you here all alone for such a long time, but I've been very busy. I was just posting at one of my other blogs and thought of you as I was chatting to my group over there. I thought the post I made may be more useful here actually. So here it is..

It is a templates based / built website and the templates are not too flexible, but it is a good way to plan pages and practice your design, work through your ideas and test a market / niche.

So, apart from that site, I have been working on leaning new marketing strategies, learning SEO, - (that's Search Engine Optimisation - to get more traffic). Mainly for my other sites.
I don't want to mention them here, why? - because, - if you know anything about SEO, you'll probably know of one strategy that, on the face of it, seems to defeat the objective.
The objective is of course to get as much traffic as possible to a website, (or not) - you see, any fool with either time on his hands, or enough money, - or both, can drive lots of traffic to a site.
Ah, - but is it quality traffic, targeted traffic of people who are already looking to buy..
Not only that, there is tracking, (knowing where the visitors have come from).
In my current campaigns, I am tracking a few specific lines of communication that I cannot really send a specific link or URL to. (with the tracking link in it).
Anyway, don't ask me to explain it beyond that, since - not only is it part of a SEO's companies program that was developed by SEO professionals, it is also supposed to be quite hush hush..
Anyway, I've been told not to damage the results and reports by sending more traffic via other avenues. So I don't.. The point I think I can try and teach you here is that... If you are following a mentor, or following a program, simply DO AS YOU ARE TOLD.
If you do that, then there should be no way you can fail, especially if the program vendors are backing their guarantees etc.
My thoughts today - It's cloudy and raining, but the sun still shines above the clouds.. Think about it!

About making money online!
So...
The interesting part you will want to know is that I started for free, you can too, I'll help you if you are interested!
I will NOT be your agony uncle, email or IM etc, listening to all your problems and phobias. But rather than just pointing you in the right direction, I have put some detail on how to start earning money for free on several free sites I have, here's one...

I work from home, making money online. That doesn't mean I laze around all day and do one hour here and two hours there. I'm sure it can be like that if you are earning the BIG MONEY, but my experience is that you have to put in the hours initially in order to see any returns.
HOW? It is easy (compared to what my mother-in-law would call a real job- (as she says... and why don't I get one)), but you will have to do some work.
So - what do I do to make money online?
I sell other peoples products, I'm what you call an affiliate marketer... Sounds really boring doesn't it? But it pays better than anything I've ever done before.
What other job could you do where you can stay at home everyday, listening to music, watching movies, spending time with the wife and kids etc, all whilst you work.
Take time off when you like, (once you have the income coming in), Play PS2, Xbox & PC games - or spend special quality time with your partner when you want to, rather than when you have the time.
To top it off, I can work when I like, 3am if I choose, it's real flexi-time. Do 4 hours one day, 8 the next if you want. But the REAL BENEFIT is that - I still get paid for work I did last month and the month before etc.
How does that work? Well, I set-up a free web-page months ago. It took maybe a few hours, lets say a days work. Then I spent a few hours each day for the rest of the week, telling others about it, (err, that's called marketing). - Advertising
Those adverts were in the form of free ads and sending emails to people I knew. I also have a list of people who are signed up to my email list, (you build this as you go, it is an ongoing collection of people interested in the same things you are interested in). I had no-one on my email list to start with!
Other things I do, are to write recommendations and reviews for films and books, or review and post comments other peoples blogs. I only try to do this where I am allowed to also leave a link to my product sales page.
If I am commenting on something to do with health and fitness, then I will leave a link to one of my affiliate sites that sell muscle building or dietary products for example.
All these ads are still where I put them and still being read!

The Ifs and But's for you!

Getting Paid.
You will need to have a PayPal account, (credit card or debit card) in order to get paid for your work. If you do not already have one you can set up a PayPal account in just a few minutes.
Once you've got some money earned, you'll need to use it wisely to pay for any joining, training, purchase and / or processing fees, for whatever program or scheme you join, as well as in order to cover your Internet connection costs.
The more income you make, the more income you will need to spend on things like advertising in order to increase your income, and so it goes round and round like this until yo have the amounts of income you need.

Earning a Great Income
Making money on the net shouldn't be hard these days, but for many people, just getting started is a big hurdle. I'm going to try and get you started for free, (except for your Internet connection costs that you already have, I assume)!

You've just got on the Internet and you have heard of all these Internet opportunities to make money, but where are they? How do you find them? What's it all about? How much will it cost?

This is the point that I started from. I just wish someone would have been kind enough and would care enough to help me start out making money on the net.
I decided a long time ago, that if someone would had faith in me, to teach and show me how to even start making money on the net, that I would repay them someday, although I didn't know how!
Maybe I could work a day a month for them, or a few hours here or there, doing this working on whatever Internet opportunity that they would show me. I'd be willing to keep working with them, so long as I could make a reasonable living too, till I had re-payed even 10 times the original cost, if someone would just show me how!
There are programmes that promise thousands per week, but cost an arm and a leg to buy into.

No strings though, no expectations from me, I treat people the way I expect to be treated in return, with respect and trust. These highly valued traits must be earned, that's why I'm offering my help to you.
